Professional Experience:
After finishing my Bachelor's degree in Manila, Philippines, I moved to Paris for an internship at the Philippine Permanent Delegation to UNESCO. During this internship, I attended and took notes during the 186th Session of the Executive Board among other activities. Here, I learned about the structures and working processes in international organizations. I was also exposed to diplomatic communications and events management.

While completing my master's degree in Université Paris -Dauphine, I worked as an apprentice for the Global Sales and Marketing team of Orange Business Services. In developing and implementing a new transversal process for the team, I learned about the different processes involved in different silos in product development and communication. I communicated with and facilitated collaboration amongst users from different departments to ensure that different needs and issues are discussed so we may take action for improvement. I also learned about product development process and project management, being assigned to do a weekly reporting of product development progress of international offers. Overall, this experience has instilled in me the value that good communication and collaboration brings in organizations and has therefore, greatly improved my collaborative and presentation skills.

After finishing my courses in Business French, I decided to come home to the Philippines to join my family for a year. During this time, I helped improve processes in our Taxi and Water Supply businesses, mainly through implementing new systems through overseeing software development. While doing so, I also worked on opening the first French creperie in Cebu City. This is in response to the growing interest of Filipinos to French culture. We offer the products in competitive pricing so that more Filipinos can experience and get exposed to French food and culture.
Education:
After finishing my degree in Bachelor of Science in Legal Management in Ateneo de Manila University, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Management of New Communication Technologies and Tourism in Université Paris-Dauphine. This degree equipped me with theories and tools for international business management, most specifically on project management. We learned about PMBOK and PRINCE2, as well as cross-cultural and horizontal management. I wrote my thesis on "Systems Thinking for New Product Development: Solutions to Improve the Time to Market Process of Orange Business Services," where I received a mark of 20/20.

After completing my master's degree, I decided to improve my French language skills so I can better communicate in French, being an important language in international organizations. Therefore, I studied Business French and Civilization, Intermediate Level in Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne in Paris, France.
