Professional Experience:
Since September 2013 ACTED: Audit, Legal and Transparency Director
- Supervision and management of an internal audit team of 40 audit staff worldwide and 6 audit staff at HQ; Perform and manage operational, financial and compliance audits to enhance transparency and accountability, and improve performance and effectiveness of ACTED missions;
- Ensuring compliance with international donors’ procedures and requirements (ECHO, USAID, EuropeAid, World Bank, UN agencies, DFID, bilateral cooperation);
- Managing Donors ‘external audits and due diligences (more than 200 audits per year for an audited budget of more than 100 MEUR at the HQ and the field level);
- Redaction and implementation of standardized procedures including remote management, implementing partner’s management, anti-fraud policy, anti-terrorism policy, etc.
- Enhancement and implementation of internal control mechanisms (in finance, logistics, human ressources, program process mapping, risk register);
- Regular field missions: to support on-going ACTED missions or open new missions;
- Define, implement and supervise a training plan;
- Legal follow-up : ensuring compliance with national labour legislation and fiscal laws;
- Transparency: ensuring compliance with ACTED anti-fraud and whistle-blowing policy.

July 2012 to Aug. 2013 ACTED HQ Audit Manager
- Structuration and management of the audit department for the organisation under the direct supervision of the General Delegate ;
- Internal and external audit management.

Feb 2012 to June 2012 ACTED Emergency Team Finance Manager
- Finance department management: budget development and follow-up, accounting supervision, cash and bank management, payment commitment and authorization, external audit supervision).

Jan 2010 – Jan 2012 ACTED Regional Auditor: Africa & Haïti,
- Support, training and audit missions in Haïti, DRC, Congo, Chad, CAR, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan and Niger;
- Management of the National/Regional Audit Function. Draft and implement the approved Annual Regional Audit Plan;
- Support to external audit from donors (UNICEF, ECHO, OFDA, etc.). Ensure transparency and financial accountability of ACTED in Africa and in Haïti;
- Reinforce current procedures and the quality of ACTED internal control, based on international best practices, donors’ requirements and results of internal & external audits.

Sept.2006 to Jan 2010 MAZARS – Audit Department – Senior Auditor – 3.5 years
- Managing and supporting audit teams consisting of three to five junior auditors from planning phase to completion.
- Legal and contractual audits, vendor due diligence, assistance and preparation in info memorandum, testing of design and operation effectiveness of internal control in connection with the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
- Working as part of an audit team in a wide variety of industries, multinational and listed groups; SMEs/SMIs, public organisations; associations.

- Lead and manage the Transparency working group of ACTED Management Forum
