Professional Experience:
Worked alongside Dr. Daniel Lopez-Acuna, Director of the department of CCU and adviser to the Director General on migrants’ health issues resulting from the Global Consultation on Migrants’ Health held in Madrid, Spain in 2010 and in the follow up of the 2013 High Level Dialogue on Migration and the Post-2015 development agenda framework underway

• Assisted Dr. Daniel in all matters related to his work on migration within the Global Migration Group (GMG) and the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) strengthening WHO's role in highlighting the inclusion of migrants' social protection, rights and access to healthcare in the global migration debate
• Attended and represented WHO at the GMG working level inter-agency meetings held bi-weekly in Geneva
• Drafted and delivered statements on behalf of the Director at several events (such as the Tripartite Meeting on Migration and Development and the GFMD 2013-2014 Fourth Government Preparatory Meeting round-tables)
• Contributed to the development of key-messages and joint-papers on migrants' health, in coordination the International Organization for Migration (IOM), for wide distribution at GFMD meetings
• Followed up closely on all events, high-level meetings and conferences on migration taking place in Geneva and regularly briefed the director on most-up-to-date thematic issues, positions held and resolutions
