Duties:
In charge of looking for grants dedicated to NGOs for the implementation of projects in the developing countries where we work.
Research upcoming opportunities to attract new sources of funds through various events and methodologies.
Identifying and nurture stakeholder relationship from a wide range of institutional, private corporate, philanthropic and trust donors.
Design and deliver the funding strategy and donor engagement/mapping strategy, working closely with country teams.
Developing and maintaining a donor database of existing and potential donors.
Expand donor portfolio through donor mapping exercises.
Conduct and manage donor/stakeholder contract negotiations, monitoring, reporting and review training. Monthly reports.
Provide training on proposal development to country teams and HQs.
In charge of coordinating the grants sector and setting objectives and deadlines for grants writing.
Writing and defining grant proposals, specifically on vocational training, specialized training, primary and secondary education, child protection, gender issues, start-ups for youth, employment integration, management of local water resources, promotion of the use of renewable energies, promotion of food security and sustainable agriculture techniques, creation of employment opportunities for youth.
In charge of the coordination of the existing projects in Kenya, Mali & Guinea Bissau and of the country office team, problem-solving skills and direct support ensured.
Final budget administration and report of the projects in Kenya, Mali & Guinea Bissau. Communicating with field consultants and coordinating their work on the field in Kenya, Mali & Guinea Bissau.
