Professional Experience: |
I currently work as a Manager for Thomson Reuters (TR), in its Customer Support department.
I have been working for Thomson Reuters in Geneva for 10 years, firstly as a Financial Markets Executive, then as a Product Specialist and now as a Manager of Product Specialists (14 reports)
Before joining Thomson Reuters I had a brief work experience in Islamabad – Pakistan as a consultant for the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), to conduct a baseline study in order to assess the effectiveness of PPAF’s forthcoming activities.
Prior to Islamabad, I lived in Cairo – Egypt for 3 years, where I worked for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in various roles. I started to work for UNIDO in their Italian offices of Bologna, firstly as an intern and was then assigned to one of their Mediterranean Investment Promotion Units (IPU) in Cairo.
I graduated in Economics in March 2002, with focus on Industrial and Developing Economics and I spent some time in Managua – Nicaragua to work on my final dissertation.
I married an Australian Journalist in 2006 and we have 2 young boys, born in 2007 and 2010.
My mother tongue is Italian, I am fluent in English and I have an intermediate knowledge of French.
I have a strong sense of duty, I am a hard working team player and I have consistently been receiving very positive feedback from my managers and supervisors.
I am passionate about long-term sustainable solutions to problems and improving living conditions for all.
