Professional Experience:

In the past 15 years i have worked in the Environment, water and sanitation sectors offering technical services as a project manager and as an international consultant to various organisations including UNHABITAT, UNDP, UNEP, UNICEF, WaterAid, Building Partnerships for Development (BPD); International Rescue Committee, Kenya; SIWI, Africa Development Bank. The focus of the assignments has been on grant making/proposal development; project management; programme monitoring and evaluations. This has included responsibilities of being a team leader for short-term assignments especially for final evaluations of projects/programmes.

Most of my work has involved working directly with partners through direct consultations with international, national and civil society partners. I have also effectively undertaken work remotely especially in developing policy documents and governance tools for institutional development.

Education:

I have an MA degree from University of Bradford UK (Conflict Resolution and Water Governance) and a an MPhil in sociolinguistics. I did my Bachelor of Education degree in Kenya (Moi University with majors in English/Literature).
I am currently registered as a PhD student (sandwich programme) at the Chalmers University of Technology Sweden).
