Professional Experience:
In my current role as an Analyst with the joint venture of Control Risks and International SOS – two leading private companies that provide security analysis and medical assistance respectively to clients worldwide – my key responsibilities are to monitor international developments that have a potential impact on travel security. Such developments include new and emerging conflict situations that have a regional influence as well as localized national situations of unrest that affect travelers’ security. The job also entails providing incident-specific advice to clients in our reports. Within three months of starting the job, I had shown a promising learning curve as I began managing shifts and demonstrated capabilities of tackling complex reports with sound analysis. Furthermore my output of report writing increased from a minimal of two reports to up to seven reports in one shift of 12 hours.

I have also served an intern at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vientiane, Laos. Relevant experience includes, drafting country-level situational analysis and position papers, compiling factsheets for the Greater Mekong Sub Region and focusing on transnational organized crime including drugs and human trafficking. Responsibilities entailed preparing project documents, confidential briefs and communications material for high-level meetings. In addition, I also assisted the organization by producing donor profiles to analyze donor trends and helped identify key socio-economic issues for targeted funding opportunities in Laos.

I hold excellent communications and organizational skills. Team spirit and a go-getter attitude have been the foundation of my work. Having worked in India and Laos, I will bring in the knowledge and diverse experience required for an international job. I am confident of providing valuable service to any organisation that I am part of.
