During my tenure in MASIO-UZH, I've acquired specialize legal knowledge in the field of international organisations. Due to the nature of my previous employment and my ambition to further gain valuable experience in this area, this programme and its emphasis on both, theoretical knowledge as well as practical, case related solutions, has sharpened me with valuable advantage in international law, international economics and international politics. Navigating various key legal principles of international organisations and the international financial architecture as well as a substantial overview of IO's are some of what I've gained here. I've decided to specialise in Business and Human Rights and wrote my thesis based on ISO 26000 application in the public sector.
For my MPA-UM studies has broaden my synergy in the areas of political science and public administration. Its interdisciplinary approach addresses various challenges areas such as governance, public administration and international relations. I've acquired valuable insights in fundamental principles, practices and techniques of organisational management related to public institutions. The relevant theories, and their applications in multidisciplinary fields such as political science, public administration, international relations further deepen my interpersonal skills. The programme emphasizes on linking theory to research, problem solving skills, as well as professional analysis of wide range of issues such as policy analysis, public sector management, and total quality management in the public sector. I wrote my thesis on ISO 9001 and its application in the public sector.
