Professional Experience:

After 5 years as a researcher and part-time lecturer in coastal studies I spent a year working as a Consultant at UNESCO's headquarters in Paris where I carried out projects auditing and helped prepare international meetings and conferences; In 2001 I set up my own coastal management consultancy and have worked throughout the Mediterranean for UN agencies, overseas development agencies (GIZ) and funds (French GEF).

Education:

PhD in Environmental Sciences, University of Ulster - research focused on coastal evolution in relation to climate and sea-level changes;

Master in Geography (major) and environmental management (minor)

Affiliations and Achievements:
